Anna's House, located at 3226 Castle Rock Garland, Texas 75044, is the official recipient of “A Drastic Home Makeover” hosted by Model My Home on December 20, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Many women today are in the crossroads of life from broken promises to broken dreams and need a hand-up and not a hand-out. They want to contribute and help themselves so they are no longer are a burden to society, but they have lost their way and don’t know how to make those necessary changes to get back in step with life, they need a helping hand.
We would like to extend an invitation to your company to provide sponsorship and, or donations to Anna’s House, by becoming a helping hand. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by January 2009 for the beginning of a new year. Anna’s House relies on donations to help provide a safe and comfortable haven for the women we serve; who many times are veterans and homeless.
Due to the economy times we will need support to help with the bills so we are able to offer a place that will make changes in their lives and give them a future, as a result they become productive citizens, working and paying taxes.
ANNA’S HOUSE is in partnership with Communities of Tomorrow’s Economic Redevelopment (COTER) a 501c3, state licensed faith based service provider that provides multiple services, counseling, coaching and care-giving. They offer training to ministers, professionals and the community at large to become Chemical Dependency Counselors. They also work with individuals who are ex-offenders, substance abusers and women veterans.
